Summertime in Seattle

Summers for me are usually fairly non-eventful.  Work mostly, choosing to let everyone else have their vacations when the weather is warmest...I hate the heat!  Thankfully, the weather up here in the Puget Sound area of Washington is nice during the summer...70s and 80s!  Things are also normally pretty slow when Five For Fighting is between tours.  John Ondrasik is busy writing songs for his next album...or should be!

This month and the next, John is doing a series of shows around the country.  Those of us who are blessed to be close enough to attend one of them can consider ourselves lucky!  I'll be one of those fortunate Five For Fighting fans when John performs at Seattle's GreenNote Acoustic Music Festival Matt Nathanson is headlining tonight's show, and John will be doing an all-piano concert tomorrow. It will be an outdoor lawn show at Seattle Center's Mural Amphitheatre, and tickets are still available.  The forecast for tomorrow is for mid-70s and NO RAIN, which will provide for a perfect night of awesome music!  I'm hoping to see John before the show, but regardless, I'll be posting a blog afterward on the day's events and of course, the concert. I'm ready for a rockin' good time!
