Then, I came up with the idea of radio station stickers...you know, those logo stickers they have as giveaways to promote their station or to mark your vehicle as a loyal listener.
Since time was of the essence...I really should have thought of this earlier...I've been contacting via email, stations along my road trip route. It's natural that I start from my hometown of Bellingham, WA. The biggest station here in town, KAFE 104.3, just happens to play soft rock and of course, Five For Fighting. I went to their office and picked up a couple of stickers. So far, I got some positive responses from the contacts I've made with the radio stations. K103 in Portland, OR and Kelly 93.5 in Bakersfield, CA have stickers waiting for me when I come by for a visit. I also talked to a gal at Star 94.1 in San Diego...they have stickers galore! Still waiting for the other stations. If any of you guys are reading this, it's not too late to get on the bandwagon...there's lots of space on my windows for you! :)
